After submitting the $200 MU Deposit, please complete the New Student Housing Living Arrangement Form.
Please complete the Returning Student Living Arrangement Form.
Because of the high-value MU places on-campus community living, all single undergraduate students under the age of 21 enrolled at least 3/4 time or more are required to live in residence hall housing by the first day of the semester. Exceptions to this policy are made for students living with parents or family members over the age of 30.
You must be a degree-seeking student enrolled at least three-quarter time (9 credits) in your program to be eligible for campus housing. Audit and guest student credits do not qualify.
On campus housing is provided to students age 26 and younger as capacity allows. Students age 27 or older (prior to the first day of fall semester) need to arrange off-campus housing for the academic year. Requests for exceptions to this policy are reviewed and determined by the housing exemptions committee and may be emailed to housing@sumcl.net.
Research generally concludes that living on campus has a positive influence on a student’s grade point average, level of involvement in campus activities, persistence toward a degree, and satisfaction with his or her collegiate experience overall.
Living on campus will help you get connected in the community faster, keep you in close proximity to resources that you need, and expand your educational opportunities.

Faculty in Residence Program
We are committed to implementing new, holistic ways of investing in the lives of its students. One of the unique ways Multnomah fosters a deeply rooted community of Christ-followers who support each other in day-to-day life is the Faculty-in-Residence (FIR) program. This Oxford model of learning involves a member of the Multnomah faculty living in student housing. Currently, Rob and Leslie Hildebrand live in the community of on-campus housing with our students.
